If you have had a positive pregnancy test, and are thinking of having an abortion, it is important to seek advice quickly.

It can be a difficult decision to make and talking it through with somebody at a contraception and sexual health clinic (Palatine, Fresh or Brook) or with your GP, can help you to make a decision.

If you live in Manchester you can book a consultation by calling the Central Booking Service on 0845 365 0565. Central Booking is just for booking appointments at abortion clinics. The staff are friendly, understanding, and trained to answer any questions you might have.

You won't have to wait long for your consultation - normally just a few days. In most cases you will have your consultation one day and, if you choose to have an abortion, this will usually happen a couple of days later. Central Booking staff will be able to tell you more.

In most cases abortions are free on the NHS; it is unlikely that you will have to pay.

If you would prefer to speak to someone in person you can go to Brook, Fresh or Palatine contraception and sexual health clinic and they will call Central Booking for you.
