Information for victims of sexual assault in Greater Manchester

If you have been sexually assaulted and wish to report this to the Police, then you should contact Greater Manchester Police (GMP) on 0161 872 5050 or, in an emergency, 999. The Police will arrange for you to be taken to St Mary's Sexual Assualt Referral Centre.

If you prefer not to call the Police, you can still make a self-referral to St Mary's Sexual Assault Referral Centre. A female doctor or nurse (or male, if preferred) will conduct a forensic medical examination and a crisis worker will be available to offer support. The Police will not be contacted without your permission.
