Palatine is a contraception and sexual health service for women and men of all ages. Palatine clinics are based in a number of centres across Manchester.

Palatine also run Fresh clinics. Fresh is for young women and men aged 24 and under.

Palatine services are free and confidential. You don't need to be referred by your GP, just go along to one of the walk-in clinics.

Palatine offers:

• All contraceptive methods, including fitting and removing IUDs and implants;
• Emergency hormonal contraception;
• Pregnancy testing and advice;
• Information about abortion and referral to abortion clinics;
• Testing common STIs including HIV;
• Condoms

Palatine also offers a number of specialist services including:

• Treating common STIs including chlamydia and gonorrhoea;
• Cervical smears;
• Psychosexual counselling;
• Vasectomy counselling and operations;
•  Menopause care.
