Opening times for GUM clinics

Christmas and New Year Opening Times 2013/14

GUM clinics will be closed on Christmas Day (25th December), Boxing Day (26th December) and New Year's Day (1st January). Please phone the clinics to confirm their opening times on other days during the Christmas and New Year period.


Manchester Centre for Sexual Health (MRI), the South Manchester Centre for Sexual Health (Withington Community Hospital), and the GUM Department at North Manchester General Hospital, are special clinics for the testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections.

You do not need to book to attend a walk-in clinic. However, clinics can get busy, and you are advised to attend as early as possible.

Appointments are available on Monday and Thursday afternoons only. Please call 0161 276 5200 to make an appointment.

24 hour HIV testing is available on tuesdays between 4.00pm - 4.40pm. You will need to return after 3.30pm the next day to collect your results.
